Once again produced by Jr & Timm Biery, this one features Bob Mallardi on bass & vocals, Roger Edsall on harp & vocals, Jay Corder on sax, Michael "Jr" Tash on guitar, and the golden boy, David Thaler on drums. We even had some very special guests on this one.

This CD features 11 songs written by the band. Check it out!
The Washington Post says "these new tunes are what make "Tastes Like Chicken" such appetizing stuff." Read the December 2001 review.
Read the September 4th article about Tastes Like Chicken from the Washingtonpost.com web site.
Ron Weinstock of the DC Blues Society says "The recording is good and holds up musically to the better blue wave bunch of bands like Little Charlie & the Nitecats or Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers. This is a solid recording that does not wear out its welcome with repeated listening." Read the review on page 6 of the April 2002 DC Blues Society Newsletter.
From 5678 Swing Magazine - They say " If you like your sound spiced with a rhythmically charged harmonica and sax and fueld by a little rocking guitar, you will groove here." Check out the December 2001 review.
From the June/July 2002 issue of Blues Revue Magazine -
Strong contemporary blues make up Tastes Like Chicken (Badblues 8021), from the Washington, DC outfit Bad Influence. The writing is good - harpist Roger Edsall manages to find new wrinkles in the overdone "Love Dot Com" blues theme, and guitarist Jr. Tash's snapshot of a sour relationship in "Talking to the Wall" is unusually in-depth and affecting. The band's finesse and flair are highlighted in backscratchin' grooves ("Don't Forget Your Nightclothes," boosted by guest guitarist Pete Kanaras' courtesy-of-Earl-Hooker wah slide guitar solo), too-cool shuffles ("Road House"), and chromatic harp workouts ("Cat Fight").
No sophomore jinx here!
Honest, witty and heartfelt lyrics sit on top of music that takes what is "blues" to a different place, yet always seems familiar; solos that sing, laugh and cry......grooves that take you from a '40's dance hall to a modern dance club.
And throughout it all, you can feel the camaraderie of these guys.
This is a band! They pull for each other, stepping forward, stepping back at just the right moments, always thinking of what's right for the song.
So do yourself a favor............buy another copy of "Taste Like Chicken" to keep in your car.
"It's Finger Lickin' Good."
